All Classes in Farever, Ranked

Combat in Farever is built around a mix of class identity, weapons, and gear, where each element shapes how you actually play. Your class sets the foundation, defining core skills, resources, and your general role in a team. With so many combinations available (based on weapon and equipment), choosing the “best” class can be difficult.

That’s why we’ve ranked them based on overall performance across solo play, co-op value, survivability, and ease of use. We’re focusing on overall best classes, not niche builds or late-game-only hybrids.

4. Priest Is the Best Support Class

Priest is the dedicated support class in Farever, built around Prayers that activate healing, shielding, or damage effects. Its signature ability, Judgement, triggers all active prayers at once, creating powerful group effects.

Priests also provide movement buffs and crowd control, making them extremely valuable in co-op content. However, they are weak in solo play without strong weapon support or hybrid builds.

However, Priest struggles in solo play due to limited damage output and reliance on teammates or hybrid weapon setups. Its true strength only appears in coordinated teams.

3. Rogue Is a Fast and High-Burst Mobility Class

Rogue is a fast, precision-based class built around Combo Points and execution timing. Instead of sustained damage, Rogue focuses on short bursts of high-impact attacks using finishers like Finisher, which scales heavily with stored Combo Points.

Its mobility tools, especially Shadowstep, allow Rogues to reposition instantly and control enemy spacing. Meanwhile, Smoke Bomb adds a defensive layer that protects both the Rogue and nearby allies.

Rogue gameplay rewards aggressive positioning, timing, and awareness, but punishes mistakes due to its low durability.

2. Mage Is the Strongest but Hardest Class to Master

Mage is the most mechanically complex class in Farever, designed around Spark resource management and spell momentum. Instead of a simple rotation, players must constantly balance resource generation, consumption, and positioning.

Abilities like Spark Beam reward sustained casting while regenerating Spark, while Blink provides critical mobility for survival. Mage also brings team-wide magic buffs, increasing overall party damage output.

However, Mage power is heavily dependent on positioning and weapon synergy, especially scepters that can completely change spell behavior. This makes the class extremely flexible, but also difficult to master, especially for beginners.

1. Warrior Is the Most Balanced Class

If you wanted a simple but strong class in Farever, Warrior is the way to go. It is a class that is designed for close-range combat using swords, shields, and heavy weapons. To get the advantage, the class builds Rage through attacks, which is then spent on powerful abilities like Raging Smash, a high-damage AoE strike.]

Warriors also have strong defensive tools, including damage reduction and gap-closing charge attacks, making them extremely forgiving for new players. Their gameplay loop is simple: engage, build Rage, and unleash heavy hits.

StrengthConsistent, durable, beginner-friendlyWeaknessLess flexible range/options compared to other classes

Balanced Overall Ranking Table:

RankClass#1Warrior#2Priest#3Rogue#4Mage

While all four classes are viable in Farever, they excel in different areas. Warrior stands out as the most reliable overall pick, Priest dominates group utility, Rogue offers fast and skill-based gameplay, and Mage provides the highest ceiling for advanced players.

More classes (Druid, Monk, and more) will be added in the future (as revealed in Farever 2026 early access Roadmap). Here are a few more rankings based on other modes:

Co-op Value (team usefulness):

RankClass#1Priest#2Mage#3Warrior#4Rogue

Damage Output (potential scaling):

RankClass#1Mage#2Rogue#3Warrior#4Priest

What Is the Best Class in Farever?

Warrior is the best overall class for beginners due to its strong defense, simple gameplay, and consistent performance.

Is Priest Good for Solo Play in Farever?

Priest can struggle in solo play because it focuses on healing and support.

What Makes Rogue Different From Other Classes?

Rogue focuses on speed, mobility, and burst damage using combo points and finishers.

Can You Change Or Mix Classes in Farever?

You cannot fully change your base class after choosing it, but the Arsenal system lets you mix weapons and skills from other classes.

Ultimately, the “best” class depends on your playstyle. So, which class are you going to pick in Farever? Comment below to let us know.
