The Boys Season 5 Episode 5’s release date and time is fast approaching. The concluding season has continued to deliver intense episodes, building towards an epic series finale.

Here’s a brief recap of the previous episode, titled “King of Hell.” It began with Homelander telling Firecracker about his visions of being a god and asking her to spread the word. Meanwhile, the Boys make their way to Fort Harmony to find V1 before Vought does. But due to a mysterious influence at the location, the Boys begin fighting each other. Elsewhere, Annie locates and visits her father, which brings more trouble for his new family.

Soon, Soldier Boy arrives at Fort Harmony with Homelander under the pretense of helping him, but locks him in a uranium-filled cell to kill him. By the end, Frenchie learns the source that’s influencing everyone’s mind and destroys it. The Boys return home having learned that a supe called Bombsight might’ve taken the remaining V1. While Homelander made it out of the cell, he ultimately chose not to kill Soldier Boy.
