But as he climbs the ranks of the martial arts world, Geon-woo attracts the attention of Baek-jeong, who is described as a prizefighter that only has his sights on winning by any means if he’s getting paid an exorbitant amount of Wons for it, as well as amassing power and influence.

Taking a recap of Bloodhounds Season 1, we saw how Kim Myeong-gil managed to destroy everyone and everything that both our protagonists held dear. Thus, they came back to exact revenge on him and destroy his reign of terror once and for all.
After dismantling Myeong-gil’s resources, his connections, and his leverage, and tearing down his empire of terror, Geon-woo and Woo-jin embark on a mission to track him down (like Bloodhounds) and avenge Mr. Choi’s death at his hands.
Therefore, in Episode 8, we see Woo-jin take on Kang In-beom on the freight ship traveling to Vietnam, while Geon-woo has his showdown with Myeong-gil on the ship as well. And after beating the lights out of him, both protagonists strip him of his wealth by taking all the gold bars that he possessed, and leaving him to rot on the ship until Interpol bags him in Vietnam.
In the last couple of scenes, we see Geon-woo and Woo-jin reuniting with Geon-woo’s mother, Yun So-yeon, and returning to their normal lives once more.
