Since its debut in February 2020, Netflix’s Love Is Blind has redefined reality dating shows. The show has challenged the idea that love is only skin-deep. The show invites singles to communicate without ever seeing one another in a neon-lit pod.
After ten seasons, we’ve seen successful weddings, breakups that made our jaws drop, and moments that became instant memes. Some seasons left us screaming at the screen, while others were just forgettable. Here’s every U.S. season of Love Is Blind, ranked from worst to best, based on drama, romance, and cultural impact.
10. Love Is Blind Season 5 (Houston)

Season 5 might just hold the crown for the show’s most disappointing run. Only three couples emerged from the pods: Lydia & Milton, Stacy & Izzy, and Taylor & JP. Taylor dumped JP in Mexico after a cringe-worthy makeup comment. Stacy rejected Izzy at the altar over previously undisclosed credit card debt.
Lydia & Milton were the only couple to marry, but they split later on in 2025. Moreover, Lydia and Uche knew each other beforehand, which she failed to disclose early on.
What is more disappointing is that Renee & Carter’s Mexico trip and Paige & Josh’s pod engagement were cut entirely. The season was dragged out with excessive filler content, probably due to fewer successful engagements during filming.
9. Love Is Blind Season 8 (Minneapolis)

Season 8 is widely remembered for, well, not much. The cast was largely forgettable, and the pod phase was too long. A few sparks of drama came from political discussions on Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ rights. While it is an important issue to raise, especially in the current scenario, these discussions didn’t resonate with the audience in a reality TV storyline.
While couples like Taylor & Daniel were undeniably cute, the season’s storylines felt muted. Post-season, some drama emerged through friendships and hookups. The reunion episode was unbelievably dramatic. Joey started dating Sara despite Monica’s jealousy; meanwhile, Sara’s connection to Ben was one of Joey’s best friends. In the reunion, Sara accused Ben of ghosting her immediately after she moved to Nashville. Overall, fans felt the season was too polite and lacked the personality clashes seen in earlier seasons.
8. Love Is Blind Season 6 (Charlotte)

After the disappointment of Season 5, Charlotte’s Season 6 delivered a much-needed dose of chaos. Five engaged couples entered the post-pod phase, but only one couple, Amy and Johnny, ultimately married. Chelsea, comparing herself to Megan Fox, became an instant viral moment, especially when Jimmy’s reaction didn’t match expectations.
Then there was the Apple Watch scandal, one of the wildest reveals in the show’s history. Jeramey claimed he went home after a night out, but his location data told a different story. It clearly exposed that he had spent the night with Sarah Ann. The fallout was pretty dramatic, especially when he later showed up with her in front of Laura.
There is also AD and Clay’s tense relationship, including his comments about infidelity being “in his blood.” Adding all these, you’ve got a season packed with drama. But with only one successful marriage, it still felt chaotic.
7. Love Is Blind Season 2 (Chicago)

Chicago’s Season 2 was a certified trainwreck in the best way. Six couples left the pods engaged; four couples made it to the altar. Only two couples ended up married, and both of whom later divorced.
The season gave one of the franchise’s most notorious villains, Abhisek “Shake” Chatterjee. He tried to bypass the experiment entirely by asking women about their looks in the pods. His behavior only got worse after the engagement. He told others he was not physically attracted to his fiancée, Deepti Vempati, while acting supportive to her face.
Shayne also brought drama, from mixing up Natalie and Shaina in the pods to arguments leading up to the wedding. Their relationship ultimately fell apart at the altar after a massive fight. Shaina Hurley was a second villain. She pursued Shayne while engaged to Kyle Abrams, which ended in a turbulent final week. The drama was messy, but it kept fans glued to the screen.
6. Love Is Blind Season 3 (Dallas)

Dallas brought a healthy dose of emotional turmoil and scandal. Two couples, Alexa & Brennon and Collen & Matt, got married, and both later divorced. Several engaged couples faced intense scrutiny. The biggest moment came at the altar, when Zanab publicly called out Cole in a speech that completely shifted how viewers saw their relationship.
Elsewhere, SK and Raven’s relationship seemed like a slow-burning success story until cheating allegations surfaced after the show. Meanwhile, Alexa and Brennon stood out as one of the few stable couples, but the couple shocked everyone by announcing their divorce in December 2025 (via People).
5. Love Is Blind Season 9 (Denver)

Season 9 had zero successful marriages, but somehow, it has its share of wild moments. This season leaned fully into absurdity. From love triangles to off-the-wall behavior, it constantly kept viewers guessing. The infamous chicken smoothie moment alone (yes, someone blended chicken with Crystal Light) is enough to secure its place in Love Is Blind history. Fans found entertainment, but in terms of long-lasting couples or meaningful connections, this season fell short.
Annie & Nick split after she challenged him when he said he didn’t love her. Megan & Jordan broke up due to massive lifestyle differences. The only couple who didn’t fight constantly, but Kalybriah still said “No” to Edmond at the altar, because she wasn’t 100% there.
4. Love Is Blind Season 10 (Ohio)
Season 10 marked a milestone with seven couples emerging from the pods. It delivered less traditional drama than earlier seasons, but was still entertaining. Chris instantly became one of the show’s most controversial contestants after ending things with Jessica because she didn’t fit his “active/Crossfit lifestyle.” The backlash was immediate from fans and cast members. However, Jessica was widely seen as one of the most mature contestants who ultimately got to date fellow contestant and doctor Haramol.
Emma and Mike’s completely mismatched views on having kids made their engagement feel doomed from the start. Ashley and Alex’s arguments over his nomadic lifestyle and Ashley not fitting as his type were equally uncomfortable. Devonta’s revelation about an engagement outside and a baby on the way shocked the whole audience and fans equally.
Even with fewer fights, the season gave the most compatible couple, Vic and Christine, who got married in the finale without a doubt. It may not be peak chaos, but it definitely got people’s attention.
3. Love Is Blind Season 7 (Washington, D.C.)

Season 7 delivered a messy, divisive, yet captivating viewing experience. Seven couples got engaged, but only two married. It started strong with one of the most bizarre decisions in the show’s history, a couple skipping the Mexico trip entirely to vacation on their own, only to break up almost immediately.
The season also featured cheating allegations, hidden children, and one of the most emotional breakup scenes in the series. Ashley & Tyler got married, but Tyler faced a massive scandal at the reunion after it was revealed he had failed to disclose he had three children before marrying.
Leo, a wealthy art dealer, and his love triangle with Brittany and Hannah caused significant drama. Taylor & Garrett were the ultimate couple goals. It may not be the most successful season, but it’s one of the most entertaining.
2. Love Is Blind Season 1 (Atlanta)

The OG season will always have a special place in the hearts of fans. Lauren and Cameron remain the gold standard for Love Is Blind relationships. They proved the experiment can actually work.
The Barnett-Amber-Jessica love triangle alone carried multiple episodes. Jessica’s drinking wine out of a gold wine glass while talking to a dog became a meme-worthy moment. The argument between Carlton and Diamond after he revealed he was bisexual, which led to their breakup in Mexico. It was one of the season’s most-talked-about moments.
Then there was Giannina and Damian’s relationship, including one of the most dramatic altar moments in the show’s history. Season 1 had everything, from real love to real heartbreak to completely unfiltered drama. There’s no doubt why it’s in the top-tier position.
1. Love Is Blind Season 4 (Seattle)
Season 4 is Love Is Blind at its absolute best. Three couples got married: Tiffany & Brett, Zack & Bliss, and Chelsea & Kwame, and all remain together.
At the same time, the drama never slowed down. Zack proposing to Bliss after his failed engagement with Irina is one of the best moments the show has ever produced. They welcomed a daughter named Galileo in April 2024, and announced in season 10 reunion that another baby is due in summer 2026.
Meanwhile, Jackie, leaving Marshall for Josh, created some controversy. Micah and Irina, the mean girl duo, were branded villains by viewers for their behavior in the pods, specifically for eavesdropping on other women. Brett & Tiffany, the fan-favorite couple, had a virtually drama-free relationship. They are happily married and have bought a home in Portland. Season 4 was a perfect balance of everything. That’s what makes it the best.
Love Is Blind continues to prove that you don’t need to see someone to fall in love. But you definitely need drama to keep people watching. Now look at the overall ranking from seasons 1-10.
