Chris Hemsworth is preparing fans for an “incredibly emotional” experience when watching Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters later this year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then follows in 2027.
So far, Marvel has released four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers. The first teaser revealed that Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers is returning to the MCU, while the second focused on Hemsworth’s Thor and the third on a handful of Thor characters. The fourth one then put the spotlight on Letitia Wright’s Shuri/Black Panther, Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm/The Thing, and others.
What did Chris Hemsworth say about Avengers: Doomsday?
Variety recently asked Hemsworth if Avengers: Doomsday will make Marvel fans cry when Thor and Loki are reunited.
Hemsworth answered, “I can’t — it’s yes, no, or maybe to that question.” When asked if it was going to be an emotional movie, though, Hemsworth said, “It’s incredibly emotional. It’s incredibly powerful. It’s going to blow you away, this one. I don’t know how they do it.”
