Is Kiefer Sutherland Still in Jail Over Alleged Altercation?
Following his arrest over accusations of threatening and assault, the Emmy winner was released from jail on Monday after posting a $50,000 bail.
However, this is not the first time the actor has crossed paths with law enforcement, as he has had several run-ins in the past. He is now due to appear in court next month, with the hearing scheduled to take place at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
Although it remains to be seen how the case will unfold in court, given that this marks his first reported encounter with law enforcement in almost a decade, it is possible that the actor could avoid jail time following the hearing.
The hearing is now slated to take place on February 2nd, and it’ll be interesting to see how things proceed in this ongoing case.
