Written by It’s safe to say that the Cosmic Garou update for The Strongest Battlegrounds is one of the most anticipated ones. There’s no official release date for the update, and heck, the only thing the Roblox update page says is “The first sighting of something that’s outside of this galaxy”.

While there’s no release date, Yieling Arts has actually shared a rough release window for the Comic Garou update in The Strongest Battlegrounds. According to the developers, although not confirmed, the update will hit the shelves sometime between December 31st and March 31, 2026, which means the update isn’t that far away.
One of the first things you can expect to see with the update is Garou’s final Hunter finisher. Back in June 2025, the developers gave (via Discord) us our very first sneak peek at the update, where we saw a player getting launched in the air, and somebody jumping behind them, followed by a lion impact frame, and probably a slam finish.
Another major addition that’s coming with this update is the brand-new 3v3 game mode for The Strongest Battlegrounds. You will also be able to queue up to 1v1s and 2v2s in just a regular lobby. This means that you won’t have to go to another server for loading into these modes.
The update will also bring us regional matchmaking filters, which means you’ll be able to switch between NA, EU, Global, and Asia. One of the developers has also hinted at a secret game mode, which hasn’t been shown in any of the sneak peeks so far.
There’s also supposed to be a brand-new map for the game that won’t be a part of the ranked. This means that it might be tired of the secret game mode.
Recently, the developers dropped more sneak peeks. One of them shows us a clash animation, which seems to be triggered by a Saitama player and a Garou player. The preview also shows a special Garou move, where he comes crashing down like a meteor. There’s also another move for Child Emperor’s Awakening Iron Gian,t which is called Conquest. There will also be color reskins for Iron Giant.
It’s also been revealed that Garou might get a new move, which is supposed to be based on a fight he had against Platinum S. We also might be getting another Garou ability that’s based on Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
