Isabela ferrer seemingly ditches blake lively in lawsuit against justin baldoni

Isabela Ferrer Seemingly Ditches Blake Lively in Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni

Spread the love

New updates in Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni have revealed that Isabela Ferrer has filed a new letter to Judge Liman in which she has mentioned what she wants redacted from all the evidence included in Baldoni’s motion for summary judgment.

Apparently, she wants to keep “a lot of her depositions redacted” because “she’s talking about these intimate scenes and that’s so personal to her,” as explained by journalist Kjersti Flaa.

Additionally, in her letter, she is also seemingly accusing Baldoni of dragging her into this lawsuit. As Flaa explained,

She’s saying the reasons why she’s here is because he published those text messages. She’s saying here that ‘When her private text messages were referenced in pleadings, and those filings demonstrate that while harassment and misuse of these sensitive excerpts, including widespread disclosures in the press and on social media.’

Furthermore, her letter also says that “Such misuse carries an additional risk of professional harm to Miss Ferrer, who is a working actress. Public circulation and potential distortion of intimate, highly personal testimony could negatively affect her opportunities within an industry that is uniquely sensitive to public perception.” However, Ferrer’s latest letter to Judge Liman is pretty controversial, and for one too many reasons.

Why Isabela Ferrerʼs Latest Letter is Controversial

For those unversed, Isabela Ferrer, who played young Lily Bloom in It Ends with Us, was also questioned by Justin Baldoni’s attorneys about those intimate scenes in the film and how exactly they allegedly made her feel uncomfortable. Now that she’s asking for her depositions to be redacted, it could be that she made contradicting statements with respect to the case.

Plus, this letter comes in the wake of Baldoni’s publishing the text messages that he received from Ferrer, where she “really praised him and said that she felt so safe during the shoot,” before suddenly unfollowing him on Instagram on behalf of Blake Lively and “claims that he made her feel uncomfortable on the set.” As Kjersti Flaa said about this claim,

[Ferrer] was dragged into this lawsuit by one person only, and that was Blake Lively. She mentioned her in her filing, saying that Isabella had experienced something similar to her from Justin Baldoni when he said that one of those intimate scenes in the movie were hot. […] What was the big problem in those text messages being published? She was just saying nice things if she hadn’t changed her mind about everything.

Additionally, Flaa also pointed out that, in the depositions, Ferrer has been asked about the intimate scenes they shot for the movie. This means that she was asked about the work environment on the sets of the film, which is not personal but purely professional, so that’s that too. The journalist went on to speculate about Ferrer’s responses in her deposition,

I think those are the pages in her deposition that are probably the most interesting for everyone to know because Blake Lively used her and weaponized her against Baldoni, and now they want to hide her testimony talking about that. I really hope the judge is going to do the right thing here.

That said, it remains to be seen when and how much of her comments from her deposition will be brought out to the public.

Sony is Not Happy With What Blake Lively is Doing Either

Apart from the revelation about Isabela Ferrer seeking to have her comments from her deposition redacted, Kjersti Flaa also shared in her latest video that even Sony, which distributed It Ends with Us, is also “terrified right now.” As she speculated and explained,

You have to know all this communication that went on between all these parties. I’m sure there are some profanities here and people talking behind other people’s backs. Maybe there’s some communication here shading Blake or maybe some communication shading Justin. Who knows? But what’s clear to me now is that Sony is not happy with what Blake Lively has done.

Now that all the evidence collected in this legal case is close to becoming public, it all could “really harm Sony and the reputation of some people that are Sony employees.” Plus, apparently, the one thing that they are reportedly really criticizing about the situation is the fact that Blake Lively used an expert witness. As Flaa explained,

They’re saying that this expert witness have pulled a nonparty into this and used part of a communication from this nonparty that could really harm this person and basically create scandal that’s unnecessary.

Additionally, she also emphasized that Sony appears to really be “fed up” with this situation, because the company also pointed out how Lively is “cherry-picking information they got from the evidence they collected from Sony.” This only further proves what the Wayfarer parties have been trying to point out this entire time about Lively, and now even Sony agrees.

Needless to say, these new bits of information in the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni legal troubles are truly even more interesting than ever, and it would be truly intriguing to see just how much the unsealed evidence brings to light to the public soon. Don’t you agree? What do you think about this? Share your thoughts and opinions with us in the comments below!

Meanwhile, the trial date for the case between Lively and Baldoni has been moved back by nearly two months, with the proceeding now scheduled to start on May 18, 2026.
