Tramell Tillman’s role in Spider-Man 4 has reportedly been revealed.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, arrives next summer. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destin Daniel Cretton, the film will once again see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also return as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds.
It’s known that Severance star Tramell Tillman will appear in the movie, though there’s been no word regarding who he’s playing or how big a role he’ll have. The only true clue MCU fans have had is that he told Variety, “Who says I’m playing a villain? Who says that? Where’d you get that from?” when asked about potentially playing an antagonist.
Who is Tramell Tillman reportedly playing in Spider-Man 4?
According to a report from The Cosmic Circus, Tillman will portray the new head of the Department of Damage Control in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
“His role in the movie will be to lead an investigation by the DODC to apprehend a new rogue metahuman they have been keeping an eye on for a while; the character in question is being portrayed by Sadie Sink,” the article reads. “…Sources have also been able to confirm that the nature of Tillman’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is not a one-and-done portrayal and that he is expected to return in future Marvel Studios’ projects, taking on a more prominent role in the next saga of the MCU: The Mutant Saga.”
While there’s been no official word regarding who Sink is playing in Spider-Man, either, a video that was previously taken on set backs up The Cosmic Circus’ report. In that video, Sink’s character can be seen being wheeled into a black van on a gurney. Spectators watching the scene being filmed said Sink’s character is being taken to the Department of Damage Control.
Still, this is just a rumor at this time and should be treated as such, as there’s been no formal announcement from Marvel or Sony regarding who Tillman is playing as of yet.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
