Some new Stranger Things Season 5 character posters have left fans confused.
Stranger Things Season 5 will be the final entry in the popular Netflix series. Season 5 is being split up into three parts, the first of which will be released later this month, while parts two and three will both premiere in December.

Yesterday, the official Stranger Things Twitter account shared a new batch of character posters. One in particular caught fans’ eyes, as it features a character that hasn’t shown up in the show as of yet. Some extra confusion was caused by the fact that this character received a poster, while Sadie Sink’s Max Mayfield did not.

According to the Stranger Things Wiki, the character seen in the mysterious Season 5 poster is Derek Turnbow, played by Jake Connelly. Little is known about him, at this point, though he can be seen standing behind Finn Wolfhard’s Mike in the trailer.

The first chapter of Stranger Things Season 5 arrives on November 26, 2025. The second chapter will be released on December 25, with the finale then coming on December 31.
