Netflix has officially confirmed that the Selling Sunset Season 9 reunion episode will premiere on November 5, 2025, just one week after the new season’s debut. The reunion special, a staple of the hit real-estate reality series, brings The Oppenheim Group’s agents together to reflect on the latest season’s drama.
This marks the show’s return to the reunion episode after Season 8 skipped one entirely. Season 9’s reunion is expected to address the explosive fallout of Nicole Young’s controversial comments and her rumored departure, along with updates on Chrishell Stause’s evolving role at the brokerage.

Ahead of the release of Selling Sunset Season 9, cast member Nicole Young took to TikTok to slam the Netflix reality show, claiming she was deliberately “silenced” during the filming of the reunion.
In a candid video shared on TikTok on August 17, the 39-year-old real estate agent, who joined the reality TV show in Season 6, recounted her frustrating day on set during the Season 9 reunion.
Nicole said she arrived early at 8:30 a.m. and waited nearly all day to film, only to be given a single opportunity to speak before being dismissed. She shared,
So, 6:00 rolls around by the way, I’ve been in hair and makeup for hours. So, anyway, they finally bring me out to the set, and they sit me down, and they want me to address one specific instance. So I do, and then the moderator goes, ‘Okay, thanks, Nicole, great to see you.’
Nicole further told fans she’d “have [her] own reunion” after October 29, when the season premieres. Her fiery remarks follow reports that production “paused” her filming after a heated exchange with co-star Chrishell Stause, a feud that was unraveled in Season 9.
Was Nicole Young Really Fired from Selling Sunset?
The reason behind Nicole Young’s controversial exit from Selling Sunset Season 9 has finally come to light. During a tense group dinner, Nicole Young reignited her feud with Chrishell Stause by repeating false claims about Emma Hernan’s alleged affair.
When Chrishell Stause countered with past allegations of Nicole’s drug use, Nicole shot back, “Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, OK? You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”
The shocking remark about Chrishell’s late parents instantly turned the tables against Nicole Young, with Amanza Smith voicing her outrage. Following the incident, Jason and Brett Oppenheim asked Nicole to leave the office, prompting speculation that she’d been fired. However, she insists otherwise.
That storyline was frustrating for me, because the truth of the matter is I was never fired from the office or The Oppenheim group — Not coming into the office and continuing to work and do business, that wasn’t a huge deal.
She also emphasized that she will not apologize to Chrishell. “I’m content with where I’m at… I said my piece,” she told Tudum. Though she still remains close with Mary Fitzgerald, she stated that her friendship with Amanza is permanently in the past.
