Reo scores the second goal for Japan
Based on spoilers posted by Instagram user kaiis3rr_, the new chapter is titled “I’m Here.” Chapter 316 begins with Nigerian captain Kuso struggling to contain Bachira and Reo Mikage, who imitate his teammate to launch a counterattack on Nigeria. As they pass the ball between each other, Kuso finds it difficult to read their next move. The spoilers then show Isagi and Rin stepping in to assist Bachira and Reo, respectively. However, Reo eventually changes his strategy and begins copying Chigiri. He shoots the ball toward the goal, giving Blue Lock Japan a 2-0 lead. Nigeria is shocked by the goal, but Reo focuses on winning the contest as his ego grows after scoring.
Onazi motivates Nigeria
The spoilers then showcase Nigeria planning to get back into the game. However, Japan’s second goal leads some of Nigeria’s players to question whether they can beat the opposition’s defense. Seeing his team in such a state, Nigerian ace Onazi steps forward and reminds his team how they are one of the strongest when they play together. He reminds them of their connection and asserts that they can take on Japan.

The scene then shifts to a flashback of Onazi as a child. Twelve years before the present events, a young Kuso invited Onazi, who lived in an orphanage, to play football. However, Onazi declined his offer. As the other kids made fun of him, they kicked the ball toward him. However, Onazi demonstrates his skill by dribbling past them with ease. This shocks everyone and marks the beginning of a new friendship between Onazi and Kuso.
Onazi and Isagi’s clash is set to begin
The flashback ends with Onazi telling his team to believe in him, stating that he was there for them. Just then, Isagi appears, and he and Onazi lock eyes. It hints that a battle between the two greats is about to begin.
