Bradley Jackson’s (Reese Witherspoon) latest investigation could unintentionally land Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) in serious trouble, according to the just-released trailer for The Morning Show Season 4. The Apple TV+ drama returns this September, and the trailer wastes no time hinting at newsroom troubles.
FBI agents raid UBN headquarters, Alex warns someone is “trying to set me up,” and Bradley is seen digging into a dangerous cover-up that could put the entire network and its leadership at risk.
The most scene-stealing moment comes when Alex confronts her colleague Mia Jordan and says, “So what is that, some kind of a threat?” The power dynamics inside UBN are clearly shifting, and Bradley’s story may be the spark that lights the fire. With FBI raids, media manipulation, and fractured alliances, the fallout could be bigger than either of them can control.
What Story Is Bradley Working on?
In The Morning Show Season 4, Bradley is likely chasing a massive exposé. This appears to be a cover-up of environmental violations that caused serious harm, hinted at through news clips and source messages on her screen. A fatal corporate cover-up involving the former network UBA. She’s seen in the trailer pleading with Chip (Mark Duplass), saying, “UBA was involved in a cover-up.” Still grappling with the fallout of covering up her brother’s role in the Capitol riot, Bradley is now determined to “make it right.”
But in doing so, she may unravel secrets that implicate Alex and threaten UBN’s future. The trailer shows FBI agents raiding the newsroom, and Alex voicing concern that “someone is trying to set me up.” With so much at stake, Bradley’s investigation might unintentionally put her long-time ally in serious trouble.
Set in spring 2024, two years after Season 3, the new season finds UBN under new leadership following the UBA-NBN merger. Alex, now a central figure at the rebranded network, must navigate rising power struggles with Stella Bak (Greta Lee), new executive Celine Dumont (Marion Cotillard), and an increasingly assertive Mia.
Celine dismisses journalistic ideals, telling the team: “It’s a nice idea… but it’s not sexy.” Meanwhile, Mia pushes for more authority, leading to her “threat” exchange with Alex. Jon Hamm’s Paul Marks returns, encouraging Alex to dig up the truth, while Corey Ellison (Billy Crudup) also reemerges.
New faces also join the cast, including Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, Boyd Holbrook, and William Jackson Harper. Watch the trailer below:
Bradley’s mission for justice could end up exposing more than she intended. As UBN faces federal scrutiny and internal betrayal, the real question is: Can Alex survive the storm Bradley’s about to unleash?
