Actress Ini Edo loses her father
Award-winning Nigerian actress Ini Edo has announced the passing of her father.
In an emotional Instagram post on Monday, February 24, the film star shared a photo of her late father, expressing her deep sorrow and describing his loss as “the hardest thing she had to bear.”
“This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first love,” she wrote. “The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on King.”
Ini Edo did not disclose the cause of death or the date of his passing. Following her announcement, fans and colleagues flooded the comments section with messages of condolence and support.
In 2021, the actress welcomed a daughter through surrogacy after experiencing miscarriages and failed IVF procedures.
