‘Why bring this online now? – Toke Makinwa continues to drag 2Face

Media personality, Toke Makinwa,has continued to drag 2Face for announcing his divorce to Annie Idibia online.

Toke, in a previous post, stated that 2Face should be ashamed of himself for bringing their issues to the public space.

In a fresh post on Monday,Toke slammed 2Face for choosing the moment Annie Idibia is facing backlash from the public, to announce their divorce.

She responded to the comments of Nigerians saying that Annie should leave the marriage if it no longer serves her.

She maintained that she is in support of leaving but noted that her issue is with 2Face choosing the wrong time to announce the divorce.

According to her, the singer is adding to the negative narrative about Annie that is in the public.

Toke further berated him for lacking empathy despite preaching about love every other time.

She wrote, “Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that’s not serving them any purpose anymore. By all means leave if you must, but why bring this online this very moment?

We know what’s going on behind closed doors, the world doesn’t know anything. It’s already been hectic with opinions flying around.

A handful of people know the truth and time will tell.

Timing is everything, empathy is everything.

You constantly preach love. You cannot add to the narrative that’s out there when you know what is happening exactly behind closed doors.”
