Mr. Adegbulugbe Adedotun, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Communications, has emphasized the need for accurate reporting and dispelled any misleading information on Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s recent trip to the United States.
In a statement made available to BAO Media Centre, Mr. Adedotun stressed the careful planning and open communication surrounding Governor Oyebanji’s journey.
He reminded everyone that the Governor’s trip, as announced earlier, was primarily to take part in essential business meetings and events aimed at boosting Ekiti State’s economy and forming strategic partnerships.
Mr. Adedotun clarified that the Governor’s schedule during his US visit aligns with what was publicly shared and that contrary to rumors, Governor Oyebanji is actively fulfilling diplomatic duties and working on projects vital to the state’s progress.
Responding to concerns raised in some quarters, Mr. Adedotun firmly stated that any attempt to cast doubt on the Governor’s absence is unfounded and politically driven.
He urged people to focus on the substantial work being done for Ekiti State’s benefit.
Mr. Adedotun assured the public that Governor Oyebanji will return as scheduled.
He encouraged everyone to ignore sensationalist claims and have confidence in the Governor’s ongoing efforts to improve the state’s socio-economic landscape.
