The Federal government has warned contractors handling the Benin, Auchi/Okene/Abuja road to expedite action or face revocation of their contracts. Minister of Works, David Umahi gave this warning during an inspection tour of the ongoing rehabilitation of roads in Edo State.

Nigeria now is even worse than a Banana republic. Why must Ministers always use these ” Mr. president has paid, Mr. President has given the go ahead for this project” words each time they talk about FG projects, i don’t understand it, is it the President’s money they are using for the projects? It is like if they don’t use that phrase, they will be quaried 🙂
