Without a doubt, Johan Pilestedt’s contribution to Helldivers 2 is one of the main reasons behind the game’s success. Although Pilestedt is no longer the CEO, he is still closely involved with the team as the Chief Creative Officer of Arrowhead Game Studios.
He often directly interacts with fans on X to understand their feedback and make changes to the game accordingly. Recently, a player pointed out that Arrowhead needs to credit the Japanese voice actors and Pilestedt swiftly assured that they need to update it.

A Helldivers 2 fan on X recently pointed out that has been trying to find out who are the Japanese voice actors for all the characters in the game.
Hey, aren’t they listed in the credits? ???? In that case we have to update it.Also let me find out.— Pilestedt (@Pilestedt) July 10, 2024
Johan Pilestedt, the Chief Creative Officer of Arrowhead Game Studios, quickly responded to it by saying that they would update it if the names of the voice actors are not listed in the credits.

Arrowhead Game Studios offers the Japanese language pack that was initially region-locked to Japan only. This was changed in the June 25th, 2024 Patch for the game as the Japanese Language Voice-Overs are now available globally on PS5 and PC.

For many players, even hardcore fans, the game is becoming dull and repetitive. Arrowhead indeed did a great job with the Premium Warbond and new Stratagems but it is not enough to keep the fanbase happy.

What the game needs right now is a huge update in terms of weapons, Stratagems, enemy factions, and gameplay. Even Pilestedt has agreed in the past that the Assault Rifles in the game are quite underpowered.
It’s not like Arrowhead hasn’t planned out the new content. A new faction, Illuminate, vehicles, and Stratagems have been found in the game’s files but it seems like they are waiting for the right time to drop this content.
The PSN Account Linking Policy is one of the main reasons why the game lost a lot of players. At the time, the game was bombarded with negative reviews and Pilestedt even confirmed that a “review bomb” cape is in the works but so far fans have got nothing.
