The award-winning singer stood up for his wife after Brymo uttered what seemed to be a disrespectful comment to the Kosokos.
Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, songwriter, and performer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has slammed sonic artiste and collegue Brymo over the latter’s recent comment about the former’s wife Simi.
The controversial Brymo caused a frenzy after he shared a post on Friday, July 21, 2023, about award-winning songstress Simi, who is equally Adekunle Gold’s wife and baby mother.
The post shared by Brymo, which is regarded by many as unnecessary and disrespectful, saw the singer-songwriter stating that he requested to get intimate with Simi when she had requested a collaboration, a situation that made the collaboration not happen.
The shocking revelation came right after a social media user asked Adekunle Gold if Brymo would be featured on his upcoming project, and Brymo quoted the question with a reply that stunned many.

As expected, Adekunle Gold, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming fifth studio album ‘Tequila Ever After’ that has been confirmed to feature Simi, took a break to address Brymo. The rockstar made it clear that Brymo should desist from disrespecting his wife and family and urged him to get help. he wrote:

Sometime in 2022, Brymo, in an interview, revealed why he hasn’t collaborated with Adekunle Gold. According to the sonic singer, AG approached him about collaborating, but he (Brymo) wanted to make an EP instead of just a single in order to make more money, which he guessed is why the collaboration did not happen.
With the latest revelation by Brymo, it further highlights the obstacles that female artistes face in the music industry at the hands of their male counterparts.
