Chelsea Football Club could be losing one of its key players to Arsenal when the 2023 summer transfer window officially opens.

The Blues forward player, Kai Havertz is one of the players that could leave Stamford Bridge this summer if any club is willing to pay the price tag (£70 million) placed on the German. He has been linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks with the Spanish club needing to find a replacement for star striker Karim Benzema.

Arsenal are ready to build a team that will be able to compete in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League when the football season kicks off in August 2023. The Daily Mail confirmed that the Gunners will be interested in a direct player like Havertz who can play at the number 10 position.

A massive clearout of players is expected to happen at Chelsea ahead of next season as they look to build a new squad for their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

Havertz joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen during the 2020 summer transfer window for a club-record fee of £76 million.
